Uruguay is South America’s under-the-radar wine region, crafting elegant, sea-level wines shaped by Atlantic breezes. Known for its smooth, food-friendly Tannat and crisp Albariño, the country’s small, family-run estates focus on purity, balance, and a true sense of place.
Hand-harvested in Las Piedras, this Tannat undergoes a 10-day fermentation with daily pump-overs. 100% of the wine completes malolactic fermentation, and 50% is aged for 6 months in oak.
Tasting Notes:
Bright, deep purple with intense aromas of plums and blackberries. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and balanced, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, elegant finish.
Tannat 100%.
Over 20 days of maceration at 27°C, with intense extraction to build robust structure and concentrated aromas. Aged 12 months in oak barrels.
Complex nose of black fruits, tobacco, and smoky notes. Full-bodied, with elegant tannins and balanced acidity—great with food.
